Box Hiit Fitness Forma is focused on giving you the variety needed for your ultimate workout experience.
When it comes to fitness, many people find themselves stuck in the same gym routine. Performing the same exercises and focusing on the same muscle groups will eventually lead to no new progress. Therefore, your fitness level will reach a plateau. Did you know that your body’s nervous system, muscles and other physiological systems can adapt to a workout routine in six to eight weeks? After that point, your fitness routine will no longer be a challenge. If you have fitness goals that you want to meet, whether it is getting stronger, training for a sport or competition, defining and toning your muscles, or just simply staying healthy and burning fat, our team at Box Hiit Fitness Forma is ready to help you reach your fitness goals, big or small.
High Intensity Interval Training is a popular way to burn fat quickly and get lean. Our Box Hiit 50 class is a fun way to incorporate your H.I.I.T. workout with cardio boxing using a heavy bag, for a maximized calorie-burning effect on your body.
Aerobic fitness is any cardio activity lasting more than 90 seconds. It’s a common type of fitness regimen that can be performed in many different ways, and all fitness levels. Some examples of a cardio workout are running, swimming, biking, and even boxing and kickboxing (https://www.medicinenet.com/aerobic_exercise/article.htm).
The American Heart Association recommends that you need at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity at least 5 days per week for a total of 150 minutes. You can achieve this recommendation with just 3 Box Hiit 50-minute classes! This is a 50-minute trainer led boxing inspired workout. Workout includes six 3-minute rounds of boxing or kickboxing and 1-minute of strength training between each round. This HIIT workout integrates several resistance equipment such as medicine balls, suspension training and more. This class is designed to help you tone your body, build muscle and improve your cardiovascular health.
If one of your goals is to build muscle, you’ll need to focus a good portion of your workouts on strength training.
How does it work?
Resistance exercises use a stimulus, i.e. a weight to give your muscle something to work against. After a period of time, your muscles adapt to that stimulus. In order to strengthen your muscles, you’ll need to add more challenging resistance and variety to your workouts. At Box Hiit Fitness Forma, maximize your strength training workout with our Forma 60 Class. This is a 60-minute trainer led group fitness, functional strength-training workout. Workout includes a variety of equipment set up in ‘stations’ that will work the particular muscle groups for that day. With this multi-dimensional strength training class, you will strengthen your muscles, work your core, improve your balance, and improve functionality for movements used in everyday life.
Allow one of our accredited personal trainers to help you plan a well-rounded fitness routine with cardio, strength training, core exercises, balance and functional training. Prefer to work out alone or on your own time? Can’t make it to one of our group fitness classes? No problem. Box Hiit’s open gym is available to its members from open to close, with plenty of treadmills, rowing machines, stationary bikes, and free weights and to get this work done- your workout oasis awaits.
