Orange Theory Fitness Vs. Box HIIT Fitness Forma

Trying to find a great gym or fitness routine can be overwhelming. There are so many fitness trends and picking the right experience can be confusing when there is a lot to consider. Think about your health goals, budget, and how the gym is going to help you achieve your dream body. Just because a certain work out or gym like Orange Theory Fitness is ‘trending’ at the moment, doesn’t mean it’s the right fit for you.

Orange Theory Fitness just so happens to be one of the latest fitness trends ran by a big corporation. The problem is every class is very similar to one another, which over time will not be as effective for your body, even when you work harder. However, a non-corporate facility with a fit-family atmosphere like Box Hiit Fitness Forma in Maitland, has the ability to add variety to your workouts and make changes that are best suited for you, so you get more out of your workouts.

Ability to Diversify Your Fitness Plan is KEY

When it comes to your fitness plan, you will get the most results from a diversified regimen. This means doing more than just cardio and not getting “stuck on the treadmill.” Orange Theory Fitness offers a limited variety of equipment.  You are limited to the types of workouts you can do and how you can do them. Orange Theory Fitness also bases its entire workout regimen on two concepts: heart-rate monitoring and Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC). EPOC is something that can happen after many types of workouts. If your workout is more intense, the more you burn after. With Box Hiit’s combination of HIIT and strength training, the average person will burn fat 30% faster than just focusing on cardio alone. Only two out of the three ‘stations’ at Orange Theory are focused solely on cardio.

Sounds like a good premise BUT also sounds like a whole lot of cardio if you ask me and I’m looking for faster results.
